This Homemade Cold Processed Oatmeal Milk and Honey Scented Soap from Scratch makes a thoughtful Teacher Gift or Gift for Her. The Artisan Bars of Soap are made in small batches. Each bar is hand cut and beveled. Soap is sold by weight. Since the bars are handcut, each bar is not the exact same weight. Your bar will weigh at least 4 ounces.
When you purchase this item, you will receive one bar of soap with an ingredient label attached.
This all natural bar soap is scented with a synthetic Oatmeal, Milk and Honey fragrance. The bar soap was made from scratch by the cold process method. It's been one of my most popular soaps for several years.
This soap contains ground oatmeal to provide gentle exfoliation while also nourishing the skin. It is scented with a wonderful Oatmeal, Milk and Honey fragrance oil. This soap is suitable for facial or all over body cleansing. It measures about 3.5 x 2.5 x .75 inches and weighs 4 ounces or more.
Soaps from scratch do best when placed in a soap dish that allows for some circulation of air around them. Or you can put them in a bag that allows the excess moisture to escape. If the soaps don’t have adequate ventilation, they may get soft or gooey and they won’t last as long. But don’t worry – they will still bubble, lather and clean even if they get a bit goopy.

I make the soaps from scratch using the cold process method. I make small batches, and lovingly cut and bevel each individual bar. Because of the handmade nature of the soaps, each bar is unique. Your soap will look similar to, but not exactly like, the one shown in the photo. I enjoy the artistic aspect of designing with colors, and I also enjoy watching the chemical changes that takes place in the soap-making process. I was hooked on making soaps from scratch from the very first batch I made.
Soaps from scratch are scented with either fragrance oils or essential oils. The ingredient list will let you know which this soap contains. Fragrance oils are designed specifically to provide fragrance, and often contain synthetic materials. I use them because there are many fun fragrances that are not available in essential oils. Their fragrance also tends to stay in the cold process soap for me better than essential oils do. For most people, fragrance oils with synthetic components do not cause a problem. However, if you have experienced allergies to cosmetics in the past, you may wish to avoid the soaps with synthetic fragrance.
Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Canola Oil, Water, Olive Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Oatmeal, Fragrance.
